walnut desk with maple drawer faces

This is a new project that is almost finished. It consists of materials I had lying around my shop. I constructed the main body out of walnut veneered plywood. Using edge veneer I covered the plywood edges and used solid walnut for the skirt and legs. I then used a whole piece of maple to make the faces of the drawers, making a continuous grain line running the length of the desk.

Shelving for Insurance Company

these were a grouping of shelves that were constructed for an Insurance Company in Berkeley.  Simple design however there were probably 36 units in total constructed.

computer desk & chair

This was a chair with computer mount for a UC Davis Professor.  We came up with the design and constructed it to his specifications.  The goal was to have a hard surface to sit on at an angle so that he could work comfortably with his back problems. It was constructed out of Maple veneer plywood. framing and outlets built in so that computer and extra electronics were easily accessible.

Black Walnut jewelry box

This is a black walnut jewelry box made with maple dowels holding it together.  there is a second hidden area under a pull out shelf.  I can customize these and use a variety of hardware.  (the hardware for this piece was purchased at Restoration Hardware.
